Robinpad

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Robinpad ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at robinpad.com and the associated community forum (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign in to the community forum via Patreon OAuth, we receive and store the following information from your Patreon account:

  • Patreon user ID — a unique identifier used to associate your forum account with your Patreon account.
  • Display name and username — the public name shown on your forum profile and posts.
  • Email address — used for important account notifications (password resets, security alerts). Not displayed publicly.
  • Avatar URL — your Patreon profile picture, if available.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens — used to keep you signed in and to verify your Patreon membership status.

When you use the Robinpad drawing app itself, all of your work (sketches, pages, brushes, settings) is stored locally in your browser via IndexedDB. We do not transmit your drawings to any server.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • To create and maintain your community forum account.
  • To display your public profile information (display name, avatar) in forum posts and member lists.
  • To send you important account notifications (security, terms changes).
  • To enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the forum.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate the Service:

  • Patreon — authentication provider. Their use of your data is governed by the Patreon Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting infrastructure — our web and database servers are hosted with a standard cloud provider. Data at rest is encrypted.
  • No advertising networks or analytics trackers are used on this site.

5. Cookies

The Service uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in to the community forum. The cookie contains a session identifier and expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your forum account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Delete your personal data (account deletion).
  • Export your forum data (posts, profile).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email address at the bottom of this page.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for stored data, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
