Grid
A square layout over the page, useful for composing, checking straight lines or working from a guide.
The controls
It opens from Tools › View:
- Show grid: turns the grid on and off.
- Grid size: the side of each cell, from 10 to 200 px. 50 by default.
- Grid color.
- Opacity: from 0% to 100%. 30% by default, faint enough to stay out of the way.
- Position: shifts the grid horizontally and vertically, from -500 to +500 px, so you can align it with your work.
Reset and limits
There is no line thickness control.
Reset values puts everything back to its starting state: 50 px, sepia color, 30% opacity, centered.
It does not affect the painting: it is drawn on top but does not intercept your strokes.
